If we were still using the Roman calendar today would be the Ides of September. But we are not, so it isn't. Every month had an ides though the Ides of March is the most famous.
There will be a New Release Tuesday Vlog tomorrow. Yay new releases! Wednesday will bring some sort of giveaway (and yes, I'm awfully behind on mailing out prizes). Thursday will be the usual comics or Thursday Flicks. For Friday I may delve deep into the past for some photos of my favorite place on earth. This will require scanning slides so we'll see. Also I hope to have some videos posted sometime this week of the awesome singers/songwriters from the Carpe Geekdom concert I saw last month.
I have read some books of course. Gail Carriger's Blameless was wonderful. More about that on another day. I also read the last 2 books in the Gardella Vampire Chronicles. I loved the last book, As Shadows Fade. In addition I read Donna Grant's Dangerous Highlander. It's the first book in the Dark Sword Series. It was a good read. I like the concept. I have the second book, Forbidden Highlander, in my TBR. Wicked Highlander, the 3rd book, is out on November 2, 2010.

I have been working on reading new books by new authors lately. I seem to go through different phases like that. But I'm finishing up Blue Diablo by Ann Aguirre and one other book. But I don't know what book will be next. I will have to see what mood strikes me when the time comes. :) Have a great week.
